Well Test operations techniques

Well Test Operation Technique is an advanced course designed to address the gaps and lack of experience demonstrated by operators and engineers in the well testing operational space. 

The theory of well testing learnt in school & short courses leaves the operator exposed to danger in hazardous operations with their lives and equipment at risk. The course will teach practical hands on techniques, and improve the competence of well testers and production engineers, to operate any equipment in a safe and expert manner. 

• To provide an advanced level of the theoretical and practical knowledge of well test operations techniques.  
• To review theoretical aspects with emphasis on the practical aspects of the operations techniques for a successful well test operation.  
• To provide guidance on how to operate and maintain crude flaring & product disposal. 
• To provide guidance on how to operate and maintain well flow product holding & measurement. 
• To provide guidance on how to operate and maintain process separation & well flow 
• To provide guidance on flow control and management of upstream equipment. 

By the end of this short course participants will gain knowledge and a firm understanding of how to: 

• Operate and maintain Flow Control Equipment 
• Operate and maintain Process Separation Equipment  
• Operate and maintain Stabilization Equipment  
• Operate and maintain disposal/ Holding Equipment
